OUTSTANDING ALUMNI AWARD
The Department of Chemical Engineering wishes to recognize the accomplishments of its alumni and acknowledge his/her exceptional contributions in his/her profession, discipline and society upon graduation. Any alumni that meet the criteria below can be nominated for this award.
1. Nominees must be a living graduate with either a bachelor’s and/or a master’s degree.
2. Current members of the faculty, staff and administration are not eligible.
3. Nominees should exemplify the following:a. Personal and professional achievement (i.e. significant and broad professional accomplishments reflecting to the individual)
b. Community service (i.e. specific and meritorious service to community or nation)4. Requirements for Nomination:
a. Complete the Nomination Form.
b. Provide brief answers (150 or less) to each of the following questions:i. In what way is the nominee’s achievement exceptional in his or her field?
ii. How has the nominee contributed to society and/or served the community or nation?
iii. In what ways can the nominee be considered an inspiration to current students?c. Copy of resume of nominee attached with picture
d. At least two letters of support for each nominee
e. Other details or pertinent data that might prove useful in supporting the nomination including documentation of public or professional recognition, articles or books published and honors received
